Last week, Epic Games launched three new “live game experiences” to Fortnite: Lego Fortnite, Fortnite: Rocket Racing and Fortnite Festival.
Although they exist within Fortnite, the three modes are more or less full-fledged games in their own right. Lego Fortnite being a very detailed survival crafting game on par with Minecraft, Rocket Racing being a racing game built by the creators of Rocket League (Psyonix), and Fortnite Festival being a rhythm game from the creators of Rock Band (Harmonix).
Naturally, many fans of these new modes have expressed concerns that they might be limited time modes, similar to other Fortnite-adjacent modes Epic has released in the past. In a post on social media, Epic Games reassured fans that the three modes will be “here to stay”, and will receive regular updates moving forward.
