Fan-Art: What If Star Fox 64 Was Remade In The Style Of Paper Mario?

Earlier this year, we spotlighted an awesome fan-animation that re-imagined The Legend of Zelda in the style of a Paper Mario game! With the upcoming release of Paper Mario: The Origami King in July, it looks like the paper hype is now spreading to other fan-favorite Nintendo series – and today’s example is no exception!

As you can see below, one creative fan on YouTube has animated their very own rendition of what Star Fox 64 would look like if it crossed paths with Paper Mario. Although the fanmade gameplay looks largely similar to the original, it’s a really cutesy re-imagining overall!

“Star Fox 64 is my favorite game and I always liked the style of Paper Mario, so I thought about making a video that would combine both.

It took me a month and a half, but I finally had time to do it, it was a fun process and I learned a lot trying to improve the video day by day.

I used Maya, C4D, After Effects, Illustrator and Photoshop. All music and sound effects belong to Nintendo.”
