Some unfortunate news for fans looking forward to Fangamer’s Pizza Tower Collector’s Edition release.
As announced on social media, the company has decided to delay the pre-orders for their Pizza Tower Collector’s Edition release. The message cites the Liberation Day tariffs imposed by President Trump in the US, as some of the Collector’s Edition goodies are manufactured in China, which would be hit by 145% worth of tariffs. The pre-orders are set to reopen in a month’s time, presumably with an adjusted price point to accommodate the tariffs. The Standard Edition is not affected.
(CE update: Preorders have been delayed by new US tariffs targeting manufacturing in China, which have made it impossible for us to estimate its final price. We hope to begin preorders within the next month and still expect to ship them this fall, alongside the standard edition.)
This news comes after Nintendo delayed opening pre-orders for the Nintendo Switch 2 in the US and Canada, also due to the same tariffs. Its evident that we’ll be seeing similar effects of the tariffs across all aspects of gaming and beyond.
