The Nintendo Switch 2 comes with two USB-C ports – one on top, and one below. This means that technically speaking, you can connect two USB-C charging cables to the system at the same time. But does it charge the system faster?
A test conducted found that when you use two charging cables, the system will prioritize charging from the bottom cable, and maintains a small connection to the top cable so it can instantly switch over to charging from that if the bottom cable is disconnected. Using two cables did not speed up charging, and neither did it damage the system.
