Recently, a new FCC filing was released revealing that Nintendo has applied for some changes to the Nintendo Switch’s hardware.
These include changes to the Nvidia Tegra X1 chip (contains the CPU and the GPU), changes to the memory (RAM) and the entire CPU board due to the other two changes.
Check it out below:
- Change of SoC
- Change of Memory
- CPU Board is changed due to the above two components.
Previously, an FCC filing for the Nintendo Switch Lite appeared before its official announcement which suggests we may be receiving an entirely new Nintendo Switch model soon!
This new model could either be the heavily rumored Nintendo Switch Pro or another upgrade to the base Nintendo Switch model similar to the one we previously got.
