Earlier this week, several ESRB listings hinted that the Final Fantasy Pixel Remaster series (which remasters Final Fantasy I – VI) could be heading to Nintendo Switch. Well, we now have official confirmation that this is indeed happening!
Square Enix has now officially announced that all six games in the series will indeed be heading to Nintendo Switch in Spring 2023. Folks will be able to digitally purchase each game individually or as a bundle of all six titles.
On top of this, the company also confirmed that it will be offering a limited physical run of the game, which will be available as either a $74.99 USD standard edition or a $259.99 USD Collector’s Edition via its web store. The Collector’s Edition (shown above) will include extras such as a bonus lenticular sleeve for the game package, a 2-disc vinyl record set featuring newly arranged game music, an artbook, and eight stylized pixel art character figures in window packaging.
