■ Story

New Regions

The entire planet serves as the stage for your adventure. In addition to areas featured in previous entries, players can explore newly introduced regions.

—Mideel Region

Encompassing the island of Mideel, this region is a lush tropical rainforest characterized by sweltering humidity.

—Wutai Region

Home to descendants of ninja, the town of Wutai is lined with beautiful architecture, characterized by vermilionpainted wooden structures and tiled roofs.

Vincent Valentine (voiced by Matt Mercer in English)

“I won’t return to my coffin until we’ve put Sephiroth in his.”

A deft gunslinger, whose lightning-fast gunplay and ferocious, bestial transformations can devastate the battlefield.

Cid Highwind (void by J. Michael Tatum in English)

“The Leaping Lancer… the Dashing Dragoon… the one and only Cid Highwind!”

An ace pilot of the airship Highwind, capable of controlling the flow of battle by swiftly closing the distance for powerful single-target lance strikes or unleashing sweeping area-of-effect attacks.

◆ New Combat System: Fits

A new system that allows you to change your characters’ combat style by equipping different outfits, each unlocking unique abilities and expanding your strategic options. Alongside FITS, customize your build with weapons and materia to prepare your team for powerful foes.

—The Warrior

Enhances offensive capabilities, enabling a wide range of aggressive playstyles.

—The Black Mage

Specializes in offensive magic, enabling spell-focused combat.

Achieve new heights of power with this system by equipping unique outfits that bestow new movesets, evoking classic Final Fantasy jobs like Warrior and Black Mage. Enjoy each distinct look as you refine your build to suit your playstyle and develop your strategy.

◆ New Enemy: Weapons
