Five years ago, Fire Emblem Heroes debuted on mobile devices and introduced Fire Emblem fans to a new strategy RPG experience on the go. Well, it looks like the title has been quite the profitable venture for Nintendo and DeNA.
According to Sensor Tower, Fire Emblem Heroes has earned $959 million in revenue to date – the highest out of Nintendo’s mobile ventures to date. Out of this amount, Japanese players contributed the most to consumer spending with $523 million, followed by US players with $308 million.
In comparison, Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp is Nintendo’s second highest mobile revenue earner at $267 million. In third place is Mario Kart Tour with $259 million in revenue.
