Yesterdya, Niantic and The Pokemon Company confirmed Trainer Battles were coming very soon to Pokemon GO.
Both companies also revealed something called Battle Leagues. There are three types of Battle Leagues – Great League, Ultra League, and Master League. Each league has their own CP restrictions.
For instance, Great League has a limit of 1500 CP per Pokemon, Ultra League’s limit is 2500 CP, while Master Limit has no restrictions.
