Today, Namco has released the very first footage direct from the game itself, and I have to admit it’s looking pretty amazing.
In Mario Kart Arcade GP VR, players drive with a steering wheel and swing their arms to throw a banana or Koopa Shell at their opponents, navigating through the Mushroom Kingdom’s race courses in 360 degrees.
Mario Kart Arcade GP VR will be playable later this year at Tokyo Zone. No word on whether it’ll be available outside of Japan at this moment, but given how other Mario Kart Arcade GP games have in the past, we’re keeping our hopes high on this one.
