Former NHK Announcer Tracks The Stock Market And Animal Crossing: New Horizons Turnip Prices At The Same Time

Junichi Tosaka, former announcer for NHK, has recorded a video of himself tracking the turnip prices in Animal Crossing: New Horizons.

The video shows Tosaka entering Nook’s Cranny and asking for today’s turnip price. In addition, he laid out a chart to track the prices for the week.

Here’s the transcript as translated by NintendoSoup:

“Now it’s time to look at the movement for the Turnip”

“The Nikkei average and the NY Dow are both on a downward trend.”

“As of now, the price of one turnip trades at 89 bells.”

“The price of turnip has dropped by 11 bells in one day”
