Following its initial discovery by dataminers, Epic Games has revealed the full details for Fortnite’s new Batman collab event, a celebration of the caped crusader’s 80th Anniversary.
As announced on Fortnite’s official website, the collab will consist of a new Gotham City Rift Zone as well as a number of Batman themed challenges. Furthermore, there will be new items and costumes available for players to obtain, themed around the iconic superhero Batman and his equally iconic adversary Catwoman. The event itself will last until October 8, while the event challenges will expire on October 1st.

A Rift Zone has brought Gotham City to Fortnite. Of course, it wouldn’t be Gotham City if villainy didn’t come along with it. This POI lets you be the hero the citizens of Gotham City need by giving you your own Batman cape and the power of Glider Redeploy!
Being a hero is even more fun when you have some “wonderful toys” at your disposal. Drop in the game now to try out the Batman Grapnel Gun and Explosive Batarang!
