GameStop, the largest video game retailer in North America, has been suffering from financial difficulties in the last few years.
These difficulties have led to the company deciding to trim their head count at their headquarters. GameStop reportedly laid off 120 employees from their HQ this week, including nearly half of the editorial staff that work for video game website and magazine Game Informer.
Those let off from Game Informer were surprised at their sudden dismissal, and now have to look for new jobs.
