Last week, The Pokemon Company announced a Gigantamax Snorlax event for Pokemon Sword And Shield.
Today on December 4th, the event is now live for the game. In order to activate the event, players must enter the “Mystery Gift” menu and select “Get Wild Area News”. After they have done this, Gigantamax Snorlax will begin appearing in the Wild Area.
This event only lasts until January 5th 2020, and it is currently unknown if it will be run again after that. We will continue to bring more details as they come, and update our Max Raid Battle Guide accordingly.
