Gotta Protectors: Cart Of Darkness Announced For Switch, Physical Edition Pre-Orders Start March 25

The Japanese indie darling Gotta Protectors will soon be heading to Switch owners in a new way!

Ancient and 8-4 have announced Gotta Protectors: Cart of Darkness, a new release of Gotta Protectors that includes 4 DLC packs which add new stages and soundtrack options. Here’s the official announcement trailer below:

On top of this, Limited Run Games has revealed that it will be publishing a physical release of the title. Open pre-orders will commence on 25 March 2022 (10 am ET), at $39.99 USD per standard copy for Switch (pictured above).

Additionally, the publisher also revealed a $84.99 USD Collector’s Edition bundle for the game – which will contain extras like a collector’s edition soundtrack, an art interview book, 12 Magicadia Classics trading cards, and 8-bit sprite pins (as seen below)
