The Crown Tundra DLC for Pokemon Sword And Shield allows players to capture a wide variety of Legendary Pokemon both new and old, including the group known as the Legendary Titans or Golems.
For those who may not be aware, the Legendary Titans consist of the original trio of Regirock, Regice, Registeel, along with the newly introduced Regieleki and Regidrago. Like with previous Pokemon games capturing the Legendary Titans requires players to solve a series of puzzles before facing off against each of them in a Pokemon battle.
Below you will find a short guide explaining what to do in order to encounter and capture all of the Legendary Titans available in Pokemon Sword And Shield. As this could be considered spoilers for the game, we have placed the guide behind a spoiler tag:
- Encountering the Legendary Titans is part of the “The Terrible Titans… Lurking Locked Away” story chapter, which is given to the player after joining Peony’s Expedition Team.

- Talking to the statue will trigger a battle with Regirock.
- Should the player accidentally faint Regirock, they can challenge it again by lighting up the dots on the ground once more.
- Regice
- Regice’s ruins are located in the Snowslide Slope area of the Crown Tundra.
- In order to unlock the door, players must have captured a Cyrogonal and have it follow them in the overworld.

- Talking to the statue will trigger a battle with the selected Titan. Players can only choose one of the two to encounter for battle.
- Regigigas
- In the Giant’s Bed Area of the Crown Tundra, there is a mysterious raid spot that cannot be used even with a Wishing Piece
- If the player brings Regirock, Regice, Registeel, Regieleki, and Regidrago to the Raid Spot and interacts with it, Regigigas will appear in a Max Raid battle.
