Guide: How To Grow Hybrid Flowers In Animal Crossing: New Horizons

As many of you may know, the rare Hybrid Flowers are a highly sought after commodity in Animal Crossing: New Horizons due to their unique and rare coloration as well as their role in obtaining a 5-Star island rating.

Although the game does not say much about the process, growing your own Hybrid Flowers is fairly simple once you know how to do it. It essentially involves the following steps:

  1. Place two flowers of the same species close to each other (horizontally, vertically, or diagonally).
  2. Ensure that there is enough room for other flowers to spawn next to the original two.
  3. Water the flowers every day (or wait for rain).

Depending on which combination of two flowers you started with in step 1, you may have a chance of a Hybrid Flower appearing the next day.
