Guide: Where To Find Max Mushrooms In Pokemon Sword/Shield Isle Of Armor DLC

The Isle Of Armor DLC for Pokemon Sword And Shield introduces Max Soup, a feature which allows players to give their Pokemon the ability to Gigantamax (provided they have the potential).

Max Soup can be made by speaking to on of the Dojo Students at the Master Dojo, who has been assigned to cooking duty. In order to make Max Soup, the chef will require 3 Max Mushrooms, which are a new type of ingredient item that can be found across the Isle Of Armor.

In order to get Max Mushrooms to appear, the following steps must be taken:

1. Participate in a Raid Battle, and ensure that Dynamax is used
2. Dynamaxing during raids spreads “Dynamax Particles” that will encourage the Max Mushrooms to spawn
3. It can take three-four Raid Battles for the Mushrooms to appear, and they can generally be found a the following Isle Of Armor locations:
   • Brawler’s Cave
   • Forest Of Focus
   • Courageous Cavern
