Earlier this week, we reported on the UK’s best-selling physical games during 2019 – with Nintendo taking some top spots. But how did Nintendo fare in the years past?
Thanks to BBC and GfK, we now have data on the UK’s top 10 best-selling physical titles for the past decade. Unfortunately, none of Nintendo’s first-party games actually made this list – although Minecraft (which released on Switch, Wii U and New 3DS) is at least at third place. Meanwhile, the rest of the list was pretty much dominated by Fifa and Call of Duty.
Take a look for yourself below:
- Grand Theft Auto V
- Call of Duty: Black Ops
- Minecraft
- Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3
- Fifa 14
- Fifa 13
- Fifa 15
- Call of Duty: Black Ops II
- Fifa 11
- Fifa 12
What do you think? Is there a little too much Fifa for everyone’s good? What Nintendo title do you think deserved to be in this top 10 spots?
