Here’s How Fire Emblem Warriors And FIFA 18 Sold At Launch In Japan

Media-Create has released the sales numbers for last week in Japan.

First up, the Switch version of Fire Emblem Warriors debuted on the charts at third place with 41,491 copies sold last week. The New Nintendo 3DS version came in at sixth with 18,357 copies sold. This brings the game’s combined total to 59,848 copies.

Next we have a look at how FIFA 18 sold in Japan. FIFA 18 sold 12,616 copies on Nintendo Switch, which is pretty decent as the PS4 version sold 55,919 copies and debuted at second place. This would mean 18% of FIFA 18 sales in Japan were contributed from the Switch version.

Last but not least is a quick look at hardware sales. The Nintendo Switch moved 73,231 consoles last week. This is considered as a big increase considering that during most of September the Switch only shipped between 40,000 to 50,000 sets a week. Looking at the overall figures, 57.7% of hardware sold in Japan last week were Nintendo Switch consoles.
