Hideki Kamiya, the outspoken PlatinumGames director, has been leaving very nasty words about other game companies in the last few weeks.
Kamiya’s latest victim is none other than Square Enix. Kamiya went on Twitter blasting the Dragon Quest, Dragon Quest II, and Dragon Quest III ports for Nintendo Switch. He declared Square Enix a “piece of junk”.
The reason for the outburst is because Dragon Quest, Dragon Quest II, and Dragon Quest III Switch were ported from the smartphone versions of the three respective games. Kamiya thought the ports used the original code from the Famicom and Super Famicom versions, which unfortunately isn’t the case.
