Hideki Kamiya Loses Interest In Samurai Shodown Switch Because The Digital Version Lacks The Pre-Order Bonus

Today we have some strange news about Samurai Shodown and PlatinumGames director Hideki Kamiya.

In Japan, the physical version of Samurai Shodown comes with a download code to redeem the NEOGEO Pocket version of Samurai Spirits 2 on Nintendo Switch. For reasons unknown, the same download code is not offered to customers of the digital version.

Hideki Kamiya went on an angry tirade on Twitter after realizing Samurai Spirits 2 wasn’t given as a pre-order bonus to those who pre-order Samurai Shodown on the Nintendo eShop. He even called the person in charge of the game a “rubbish guy.”

He finished off his tirade by telling followers he has “lost all interest” in purchasing the Switch version of Samurai Shodown:
