Nintendo gamers in Hong Kong are a pretty lucky bunch. First they were getting the same Nintendo Switch Splatoon 2 Neon Green/Pink Joy-Con set that everyone was clamoring for, and we just found out they’re getting the Monster Hunter XX for Nintendo Switch Special Pack.
Although it’s not officially announced by Nintendo Hong Kong yet, the elusive Special Pack was spotted on the official Nintendo Switch Hong Kong website. Based on the image and description of the product, it appears to be exactly the same SDK that the Japanese are getting. The launch date is identical too – August 25.
The Special Pack comes with a physical copy of Monster Hunter XX for Nintendo Switch (in Japanese), a pair of grey Joy-Con, and other essentials. What’s special about this set lies in the dock and console – the Nintendo Switch Dock and the back of the Nintendo Switch console are decorated with special Monster Hunter patterns.
So if you happen to be a big Monster Hunter fan visiting Hong Kong in August, make sure you snag up one of these! You’ll have a better chance over queuing up alongside thousands of Japanese customers who want a Switch.
