Note: The Fighting Commander controller is up for purchase on Amazon US here.
Accessory maker HORI is releasing a Fighting Commander controller, compatible with the SNES Classic Edition and Super Famicom Classic Mini.
The Fighting Commander wireless controller is an official licensed Nintendo product. The controller configuration is a perfect fit for fighting games on the SNES Classic Mini. There’s the usual D-Pad and ABXY buttons, as well as extra L and R buttons beside the ABXY buttons.
A “slow motion” switch allows players to create a “slow motion” effect in the video game, which activates the START button 10 times a second. There’s also a “rapid fire” switch for the ABXYLR buttons which activates the A,B,X,Y,L, and/or R buttons 24 times a second.
The Fighting Commander Controller is now available for pre-order on Amazon Japan, eligible for international shipping. It releases on October 31, 2017. Click here to pre-order.
