Looking to charge your Joy-Con controllers with a little Pokemon energy? This upcoming official product might be just what you’re looking for!
As revealed on Pokemon’s official Chinese site, The Pokemon Company and HORI will be launching a new “Pokemon Nintendo Switch Joy-Con Charging Stand and Protective Case Set“. The bundle includes a charging stand with artwork of Bulbasaur, Charmander and Squirtle – while the Joy-Con protective cases have designs of Pikachu and Eevee!
Like previous Joy-Con Charging Stands from HORI, this one works by being connected to a Nintendo Switch dock. It will be able to fully charge 1 to 2 Joy-Cons in around 3.5 hours, or fully charge 3 to 4 Joy-Cons in 7 hours.
The set will be launching first in Asian regions during Late January 2021. For now, we only know that will cost RMB $249 in China (or around USD $38). Here are some preview images below:
We’ll report back if this charming set pops up elsewhere around the world. Stay tuned!
