Takara Tomy has announced a new lineup of toys compatible with Inazume Eleven Ares in Japan today.
The first lineup of toys is called License Card. License Cards contain NFC chips that power amiibo. Each license card represents a different character from Inazuma Eleven Ares. The License Cards will be usable in both Inazuma Eleven Ares for Nintendo Switch and the Inazuma Eleven Trading Card Game. No word on what license cards do in the game yet.
License cards will be sold at retail for 300 yen. The first wave features 24 license cards to collect and one secret card.
The next lineup of toys is called Eleven Band. Eleven Band is a wearable wrist pedometer that records daily actions (walking, running, speed, etc) conducted by the user. Players can accumulate “power” through their daily activities, which can be sent to Inazuma Eleven Ares.
Other features the Eleven Band have include a clock, calendar, mini games, and 7 other functions. Players can also receive messages from 150 different Inazuma Eleven characters via their Eleven Band at different times of the day.
Three different Eleven Band models will be available at launch for 5800 yen each. The toys will be released in Spring 2018, while Inazuma Eleven Ares will launch on Nintendo Switch in Summer 2018.
