In the most recent Nindies presentation, the internet was surprised when Cadence Of Hyrule was announced for Nintendo Switch as a collaboration with an indie studio!
A group of indie developers by the name of Elden Pixels (the creators of Alwa’s Awakening on Nintendo Switch) have decided to publicly tweet to Nintendo about a possible collaboration!
Check it out below:
The tweet reads:
Hey Nintendo of America and Nintendo of Europe,
If you’d like to work with other talented indie developers we’d love to remake or do a follow-up to Zelda II: The Adventure of Link.
We’re pretty sure we’d do a great job.
It seems the group are very interested in creating a follow-up to Zelda II: The Adventure of Link however it is unlikely of Nintendo to respond to them publicly about this.
Nindie manager Kirk Scott has stated in the past that Cadence Of Hyrule will start a trend going forward which could mean this could happen in the future!
If we have any more information to share we will cover it here at NintendoSoup so stay tuned for more!
