Japan: Breath Of The Wild Has Stayed On The Weekly Bestseller Charts For 100 Consecutive Weeks

Earlier today, we shared with you a huge sales milestone The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild has achieved worldwide. Now we have another big milestone to report on, this time coming from Japan.

This week marks the 100th week The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild has consistently stayed on the Media Create charts in Japan. Every week, Media Create publishes the top 20 bestselling games in Japan. Since Breath of the Wild’s debut in March 2017, it has never left dipped below the No. 16 bestseller ranking for 100 weeks.

This proves The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild is a true evergreen title that many Nintendo Switch owners are still interested in picking up. Nothing like this has ever been seen before in Japan, a country where the Zelda series isn’t very popular.
