Japan: Famicom Classic Mini Goes On Sale Later Today At Rakuten Bic

Rakuten Bic, Japanese retailer Bic Camera’s official store on the Rakuten e-commerce platform, has announced they will be selling a new shipment of Famicom Classic Mini consoles later today.

Sales are scheduled to begin on April 17, 2018 12am Japan Time. Assuming they don’t sell out, it will end on April 17, 11:59pm. Quantities are said to be limited. This is the second time a Japanese retailer has been spotted selling the discontinued Famicom Classic Mini this year, but it doesn’t seem to be a nationwide restock.

While Nintendo has announced production for the Famicom Classic Mini will resume in Japan in 2018, they have not specified when.
