Inside Games has published a report on the morning of Super Smash Bros. Ultimate’s launch in Japan.
Members of Inside Games camped out Yodobashi Akiba, one of the largest electronic stores in Tokyo, Japan, to monitor the crowd. At about 9am, there were over 100 people lining up to collect their copy of Super Smash Bros. Ultimate.
Meanwhile at Yodobashi Shinjuku, about 30 people gathered outside the store, most to purchase a copy of Super Smash Bros. Ultimate.
As you can see, while the crowds weren’t as large as those lining up for a Nintendo Switch last year, it’s still pretty rare to see many people lining up to collect a game in Japan.
What do you think? Let us know in the comments.
Thanks, Brandon.
