Japan: Monster Hunter XX Save Data Transfer App Now Live On The 3DS eShop

Monster Hunter XX Nintendo Switch Ver. is launching tomorrow in Japan, and to get ready hunters ready, Capcom has released a free application on Nintendo 3DS for hunters playing Monster Hunter X or Monster Hunter XX.

Called “Monster Hunter XX Data Transfer App”, the free tool allows players to transfer their save data from the 3DS version of Monster Hunter X and Monster Hunter XX to the the Switch version of Monster Hunter XX.

There are some limitations, though. Although players can transfer their save data to and fro the 3DS and Switch versions of Monster Hunter XX, it’s a one way transfer for Monster Hunter X players migrating their save data.

Besides the new data transfer tool, a new update has been released for Monster Hunter XX on Nintendo 3DS, which allows online play with players on Monster Hunter XX Nintendo Switch Ver.
