Japan: Super Robot Wars T Switch Sold Half Of The PS4 Version, But Chocobo Did Better On Switch Than PS4

Media Create has published the latest video game sales data in Japan for the week of March 18 to March 24, 2019.

Super Robot Wars T debuted on both Nintendo Switch and PS4 last week. The Switch version came in at No. 3 with 44,051 copies sold, while the PS4 sold double at No. 2 with 88,093 copies.

On the other hand, Chocobo’s Mystery Dungeon: Every Buddy! did better on Switch than PS4 – the Switch version moved 28,509 copies and debuted No. 4, while the PS4 version sold 21,041 copies and came in at No. 6.

Nintendo Switch hardware sales were 56,099 systems last week, taking 56.4% market share.

This is the last weekly Media Create update we will be putting out, as 4Gamer is ending Media Create updates due to a change in Media Create policy. We’ll continue to bring you sales data from Japan via other sources such as Famitsu and Dengeki Online.
