Today, My Nintendo Store Japan sent out the results for the second Nintendo Switch 2 pre-order lottery in Japan.
According to survey results on Twitter, 5.2% of those who applied for the Nintendo Switch 2 Japanese-Language standalone system secured a set, 4.5% did so for the Japanese-Language Mario Kart World set, and 29.9% successfully got a Multi-Language System set. Those lucky to secure a set in the second pre-order lottery can expect to get theirs on launch day (June 5, 2025).
The percentage of people who secured a set in the second round has drastically dropped compared to the first round, as the first round had an overall 20% to 25% success rate. This could be because the number of sets available in the second round is lower than the first round.
Results for the third Nintendo Switch 2 lottery have also been announced on My Nintendo Store – the third round will begin from May 22, 2025 afternoon and end on May 28 11am Japan time, with results scheduled to be published from the afternoon of June 3. Successful applicants will have their sets delivered by June 21, 2025 (after release date).
