Today we have more news to share about the physical version for Travis Strikes Again: No More Heroes in Japan.
The physical version, or rather, the boxed version of Travis Strikes Again: No More Heroes is sold exclusively on My Nintendo Store. Unlike other territories in the west and Northeast Asia, the Japanese boxed edition does not come with a Game Card. Instead, it comes with a download code to redeem the game, and another download code to redeem the Season Pass.
There’s currently no explanation why the Japanese are being treated differently for this release, but we have a feeling that Nintendo thinks Travis Strikes Again simply won’t sell well in Japan, so it’s not worth the effort to do a proper release. Still, at least they’re getting something, unlike the fans living in Southeast Asia.
