A 37 year old man who lives in Japan has been arrested for sending threatening messages to the prefecture government.
According to Yahoo News, due to traffic accidents caused by people who play Pokemon GO while driving on the road last year, the Aichi prefecture government enforced stern regulations on the use of Pokemon GO while driving in Ichinomiya city. These regulations affected companies, especially those that employ drivers.
The 37 year old man was very unhappy with the regulations, so he sent 9 threatening messages such as “withdraw your regulations, or else I will burn down the city hall” to the prefecture government. At the time of writing, the suspect has pleaded not guilty.
