Japanese Players Complain About The Nintendo Switch Lite D-Pad

When the Nintendo Switch Lite launched last Friday, some players complained about their analog stick drifting and other weird things.

In Japan, owners of the Switch Lite didn’t complain about the analog sticks. Instead, they complained about the D-Pad. According to most user complains, the D-Pad is “very stiff to use” and it’s hard to press two directions on the D-Pad simultaneously, making it tough to perform combos in fighting games.

“The analog stick is working fine, but for an old man like me, I want to play with the D-Pad! If they don’t fix this I can’t play shooting games…”

“The Switch Lite’s D-Pad is awful, it’s so hard to press two directional keys together. I don’t know whether it’s just me but I cannot recommend the Switch Lite to players who enjoy fighting games.”

“The Switch Lite is a pretty light console, but the D-Pad keys are horrible. I can’t perform a Hadouken (Street Fighter combo).”

“Can’t perform a Shoryuken (Street Fighter combo move) with the Switch Lite D-Pad.”
