Although the Nintendo Switch Lite has been relatively easy to pre-order worldwide, Japanese retail chain GEO doesn’t think so.
According to a poster placed at a GEO location, the retailer expects Nintendo Switch Lite shortages to happen in Japan based on “the number of inquiries” they have received about the product. They also informed customers that it is possible to cancel their orders for free.
Some Japanese commentators speculated that the Switch Lite will become hard to find before September ends, as the Japanese sales tax will increase from 8% to 10% on October 1, 2019.
