Japanese Scalpers Are Flipping Pokemon UTGP T-Shirts For A Tidy Profit

A few days ago, Uniqlo released the Pokemon UTGP T-shirts in Japan and many parts of the world.

It seems that the Pokemon UTGP T-shirts have been very popular among customers with many sizes and designs out of stock. And part of the reason fueling that are scalpers.

Scalpers in Japan have spotted an opportunity flipping these T-shirts for a tidy profit. Many T-shirts are now going for 1.5 times to 3 times their original retail price on various e-commerce platforms in Japan:

Seems there were many willing buyers too. At least two buyers paid 5 times the original retail price:
