Japanese Version Of Doraemon Story Of Seasons Playable Only In Japanese

Today we have some important news for those of you planning to get Doraemon Story of Seasons early by pre-ordering the Japanese version.

A Taiwanese retailer has received word from Bandai Namco Entertainment Asia that the Japanese version of Doraemon Story of Seasons will not be playable in Traditional Chinese, and neither will the game receive an update to play in Traditional Chinese.

This implies that the Japanese version of Doraemon Story of Seasons is only playable in Japanese, and Bandai Namco Entertainment has no plans to update the Japanese version with other languages once the game releases in other territories. That means those of you who only understand English or your native language will have to wait till the English release in Fall 2019.

Also, it’s reconfirmed that the Chinese version of Doraemon Story of Seasons is only playable in Traditional Chinese, and will be released in Taiwan in Summer 2019.
