Earlier this year, Square Enix teased that Kingdom Hearts: Melody of Memory fans would be able to dip their toes into the game for free in October 2020. Well, it looks the wait is nearly over!
The official Kingdom Hearts Twitter in Japan has confirmed that the free demo will drop on 15 October 2020. In fact, several folks around the world have already been able to download the demo for PS4 and Xbox One, since regions like New Zealand are already crossing over past midnight.
From these users’ reports, the demo contains four Field Battle Music Stages and two Co-Op Music Stages – for a total of six songs. However progress will not carry over to the full game.
We’ll report back when we hear more about Kingdom Hearts: Melody of Memory in the future.
