Does the Switch have the heart to support Kingdom Hearts graphics?
In an interview with Famitsu, series director Tetsuya Nomura said that it is “possible to release” the game on the Nintendo Switch. At least in theory.
“Other hardware is not limited to the Nintendo switch, and we will consider all of them after the release of the PS4 and Xbox one versions,” he said.
The main concern is the amount of power needed to support the game graphically. The Switch is limited by it’s capacity more than consoles such as Xbox and the PS4.
Getting Kingdom Hearts 3 for the Switch in its current state could be problematic. The console may slow down or freeze as it tries to handle the motions of enemies and your own combat.
Making the game functional for the Switch might cost the quality of the graphics that we see for the game currently.
