Kirby Series Celebrates 29th Birthday With Special Artwork

Kirby fans can now mark another Happy Birthday for their favorite pink puff!

29 years ago today (27 April), Kirby made his videogame debut in Kirby’s Dream Land for the classic Game Boy. To celebrate, the official Kirby Twitter posted some special artwork of Kirby forming a “Friend Train” with his pals – along with a black-and-white version of the artwork that you can color yourself!

Created by Super Smash Bros. producer Masahiro Sakurai, Kirby’s repertoire would expand to include numerous platforming sequels and spin-offs such as Kirby Super Star on the Super Nintendo Entertainment System and the cult-classic Kirby Air Ride on Game Cube. Of course, Kirby has also had recent releases on Switch such as Kirby Star Allies and Kirby Fighters 2!

What is YOUR favorite Kirby game, to date? Feel free to share with us below!
