Kirby’s Extra Epic Yarn Only Playable In 2D, Listed For New 3DS Systems On Official Website

The official Nintendo website has listed Kirby’s Extra Epic Yarn for New Nintendo 3DS only.

This has caused confusion among those in the community as Nintendo had previously announced Kirby’s Extra Epic Yarn for the Nintendo 3DS family of systems. We believe this is a mistake as the official boxart clearly indicates that the game will be compatible with every system in the Nintendo 3DS family:

We’d also like to point out that similar to recent Nintendo 3DS titles out this year, Kirby’s Extra Epic Yarn plays only in 2D and does not support the stereoscopic 3D effect.
