Koei Tecmo, the publishers and developers best known for the Warriors series, has announced a new policy in their fiscal earnings report.
Starting this financial year through the next three financial years, the company aims to “create and expand” global IPs and businesses. As part of this initiative, players can expect games to release on the same day in Japan and the rest of the world, rather than waiting for a month or longer after the Japanese launch.
We can already see this happening with the upcoming release of Dynasty Warriors 8 Xtreme Legends Definitive Edition for Nintendo Switch, and Dead or Alive 6 for other platforms.
