Following the game’s latest update on Switch, many Mortal Kombat 11 players have been facing some critical internet connection issues, locking them out of the majority of the game’s modes.
The issue was first reported a few days ago by Switch owners on the Mortal Kombat subreddit, and has since been corroborated by several other users, although it doesn’t seem to affect everyone. That said, network connection issues are a pretty big deal for Mortal Kombat 11.
Without a stable internet connection, players will not only be unable to play online matches, but will also be locked out of the Krypt and Towers of Time. Furthermore, they will be unable to earn or access any of the game’s rewards or unlockables.
So far, it seems developer Netherrealm has not officially acknowledged that this issue exists on Switch. With any luck, they will investigate the problem and put out a fix for it soon.
