As you know, Nintendo has released a new version 10.0.0 firmware update for Nintendo Switch yesterday.
Dataminer Mike Heskin has discovered something interesting from this firmware update. According to the dataminer, Nintendo has added preliminary support for a new hardware model called “nx-abcd”. This is similar to how Nintendo added support for Mariko, which we would later know as the longer battery life Nintendo Switch.
Although we do not know much about this new hardware, Heskin says he has found evidence that this model will feature a secondary display not found on the Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch Lite. A secondary display means that the model has two screens, similar to a Nintendo DS.
What do you think? Let us know in the comments.
Thanks, Jason.
