Latest Switch Update Patches DNS Homebrew Exploit

The biggest firmware update for Nintendo Switch, version 4.0.0, has brought video capture and save data transfers to gamers worldwide.

Another thing that Nintendo has hidden in this firmware update is a patch that has completely blocked the DNS web browser exploit that some users have been taking advantage of for homebrew.

Before the update, the DNS web browser exploit was used to access the Switch’s internal web browser for web surfing and even play the NES Golf easter egg game.
