Pokemon GO traffic analyst Chrales has discovered the existence of 8-bit sprites for Latias and Latios in Pokemon GO.
8-bit sprites were added to Pokemon GO as part of this year’s April Fool’s joke. Given that Lugia’s return is coming to an end on April 2 and there are no signs of Regirock, Regice, and Registeel as 8-bit icons, it’s safe to say Latias and Latios are expected to be the 5th Legendary Raid Bosses after April 2, 2018.
