Limited Run Games Teases “One Last” Physical Release For Nintendo 3DS

As reported earlier this week, the Nintendo 3DS eShop is now officially closed – with no further new purchases available from the storefront. However, it looks like one final game will be preserved for time to come.

Limited Run Games has revealed that it has “one last 3DS release” in production – sharing a photo to tease its eventual release. While the company did not share further details at the time, it stated that folks can anticipate “more news” in the future.

As pictured above, this isn’t Limited Run Games’ first foray into pushing out last-minute 3DS physical releases. Last year, the company released the DSiWare game Go! Go! Kokopolo Harmonious Forest Revenge and its 3DS sequel Go! Go! Kokopolo 3D Space Recipe for Disaster in physical form as well. At the time, it was assumed that those two games would be the final 3DS physical releases with 3DS cartridge production finally winding down for good – although that no longer seems to be the case with this final mystery game.

What do you think this final 3DS physical release will be? Feel free to share your guess below!
