Mario And Peach Almost Married In Super Mario Odyssey

Today we have a shocking piece of artwork to share with fans and players of Super Mario Odyssey.

In The Art of Super Mario Odyssey, an official artbook for the game, there’s a piece of concept art showing Mario and Peach together at a wedding. Mario is even seen blushing.

Unfortunately, despite the wedding theme in Super Mario Odyssey, this never happened in the story, but it does show that Nintendo at some point wanted Mario to marry Peach in Super Mario Odyssey.
